Delete your account
BackPain (soy.gabimoreno.backpain) · operated by Gabriel Moreno Ibarra · Last updated: July 29, 2026 · En español
You can use BackPain without an account. If you did sign in with Google, here is how to delete that account and the data attached to it.
From the app
- Open BackPain and go to the menu.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
You will be asked to sign in once more, so we know it is really you. The account is deleted straight away.
By email
If you no longer have the app installed, write to soporte@gabimoreno.soy from the Google address you signed in with, asking us to delete your account. We handle it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account itself (the sign-in record holding your email address, your name and your Google profile picture).
- The server copy of your onboarding answers (where your back bothers you, hours sitting, how long you have noticed it, age range, gender, height and weight).
This is permanent and cannot be undone.
What is not covered by this
- Your scan history. Every posture score lives on the device itself, not on our servers. Wipe it with Delete my data on the same screen, or by uninstalling the app.
- Your photos. Nothing to delete on our side: posture photos are analysed on your own device and are never uploaded.
- Your subscription. It is managed by Google Play, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it in the Play Store, under Payments and subscriptions.
- Billing records. Google Play keeps transaction records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We cannot delete those.
- Messages you sent us from inside the app. They are a conversation we had, not part of your account, so they stay. Ask us and we delete those too.
- Aggregate usage statistics that are not linked to you as an individual.
