Delete your data

You can wipe what BackPain knows about you and carry on using the app. Your account, if you have one, stays as it is — to delete the account itself, see Delete your account.
From the app
- Open BackPain and go to the menu.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Delete my data and confirm.
If you are signed in with Google, you will be asked to sign in once more, so we know it is really you. Then the data is deleted straight away, on the phone and on the server.
By email
If you no longer have the app installed, write to soporte@gabimoreno.soy from the Google address you signed in with, asking us to delete your data. We handle it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your onboarding answers — where your back bothers you, hours sitting, how long you have noticed it, age range, gender, height and weight — on the phone and the copy stored under your account.
- Your scan history, which lives on the phone: every posture score and its results.
This is permanent and cannot be undone. The app goes back to knowing nothing about you, and asks you the onboarding questions again next time.
What is not covered by this
- Your account. The sign-in record with your email address, your name and your Google profile picture stays until you delete the account itself.
- Your photos. Nothing to delete on our side: posture photos are analysed on your own device and are never uploaded.
- Your subscription. It is managed by Google Play, not by us, and deleting your data does not cancel it. Cancel it in the Play Store, under Payments and subscriptions.
- Billing records. Google Play keeps transaction records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We cannot delete those.
- Messages you sent us from inside the app. They are a conversation we had, not part of your data. Ask us and we delete those too.
- Aggregate usage statistics that are not linked to you as an individual.
